Meet Betty

Realtor by trade. Betty the Baker on weekends.

Lori Hobin is a Palm Beach Gardens Realtor. In her own kitchen she becomes Betty the Baker, a nickname that came from her neighborhood and stuck.

She bakes sourdough loaves, bagels, muffins and cookies to order, and thanks the neighbors who were happy to taste every early batch.

Always learning new ways to make it more delicious.

The craft

Slow bread, shaped by hand.

Sourdough rises on a living starter instead of packaged yeast, so it takes its time. Every loaf on this page was mixed, shaped and scored in Lori’s own kitchen, and no two crusts carry quite the same pattern.
